Self consious

 

People who say “I love myself”?

I love inspite of myself.

I am being loved inspite of my self.

In me is great love.

This great Love encompasses me.

The loved is close to the lover.

The lover is close to the beloved.

What is self but a drop

from this ocean of love.

What is Self other than You?

 

I just write as the pen flows my Lady.

I have become crosseyed in this world.

I constantly see two realities,

I constantly hear two conversations,

the one talks in words,

the other in “Birdspeak”.

It is not hard to hear the beloved,

It is harder not to…

The ear is closer than the eye.

It is hard to really see this world.
